A core pillar of CHART is to nurture the next generation of youth who will grow up to become compassionate and digitally-capable leaders who can ethically and professionally adopt and develop AI health technology.  

CHART facilitates collaborative research, enhance teaching activities, and foster innovation across disciplines, enabling HKU staff and students to easily access cutting-edge resources, receive expert guidance, and work together more effectively, ultimately strengthening the university’s research capabilities and educational excellence.  

We also offer specialized short courses on health AI topics for health professionals and run outreach activities for a wider audience, such as the ‘Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup’, a flagship competition that inspires secondary school students to develop evidence-based health technology solutions under professional mentorship.
